I am ready for summer

Savannah helped Grant get all slicked up. He called it his "Superstar" look.
Here is a conversation Grant and I had about his new look.

Mom: you look sharp Grant!
Grant: do you want to go on a date?
Mom: what would we do on our date?
Grant: Kiss!

Ok! I am a little nervous about this boy! Watch out girls...10 more years and he'll be out there ready to date~

Each winter our backyard turns into an absolute mud pit! Which means rowdy boys cooped up inside all day...which equals.....crazy mom, longing for summer to get here! I have never looked forward to warm, sunny days as I do right now! I am someone who loves the grey, rainy days, but for the sanity of my mind, I need some warm, sunny days~ Anyway, this is the best I could do for our young monkeys. and yes, this is right in our family room. It matches nicely though.

A rare moment, Josh and
Troy taking turns. Yeah!

King of the castle!

Josh "sharing" some food with Jake.....can't you just tell what the dog is thinking?

Grant, Troy and Josh have each had a love for the fine taste of dog food. Disgusting!

A newly discovered talent of Jake's.

Julie! I stubbled across your blog after reading a comment you posted on Kara's. I'm so glad I found it. I can't believe you have 5 kids! They are so cute. Savannah is so pretty and i'm glad that she's a little basketball star. I'm glad I can get a peak into your life through blogging.

I hear you with the weather. I am glad we have had less rain than I remember last year, but enough with the below 50 stuff and snow. I want to be HOT, and would settle for even being warm. I love the dog trick. Kyla would love that. I wish the girls would hang out sometime.

what kind of dog do you have?

Teagan...he is a miniature labradoodle. We picked the biggest one though. They can weigh from 10 to 25 pounds. Great dog!
