Last Saturday we took the kids to the pumpkin patch. The weather was absolutely beautiful. I love going each year. It is so fun to watch each kid find their pumpkin. No matter how perfect I may think one pumpkin is....they always seem to find one that is exactly what they were looking for~
Josh had a great time looking at all the pumpkins. He even tasted a few!
Once the perfect pumpkins have been chosen, we carve them. We sort through all the goop and roast the seeds! This is always an adventure...as you can imagine.

I was so frustrated with Grant during this picture...he just wouldn't smile...it is one of my favorite, I love the look on his face. Grant is wild, yet he is so gentle too. This really caught that side of him.
I forgot to mention Savannah was only there for a little while because she had basketball practice. I will have to get more of her another day. She is so busy! Aren't my guys so cute though?
Don't you just love these pictures...this is what mostly went on. Check out Josh, he wasn't about to be left out!
Fall is my absolute favorite season of the year! I love the colors, I love the crisp air outside...I swear I would have a fire going every day...(if only my fireplace worked)I love that it gets dark early...I am strange that way, and I also appreciate the rain, even as a kid I remember how I would feel inside listening to the rain. It just makes me happy. I LOVE the rain! I have always wanted to take my kids out and photograph them playing in a pile of fall leaves. So, off we went, feeling a little like my Mom....just trying to get the perfect picture...quickly I remembered that it is next to impossible to get all 5 kids smiling and looking at the camera at the same time. I was pretty discouraged by the time we left...thinking I probably only got one or two good ones. When I sat down to look at them today, I was thrilled to see that I caught each of my kids in their truest form. I am so thankful for my kids who go along with me...and for Brett who realizes how important this is to me. I've decided that this is my hobby. (I've always wanted a hobby.) There are a lot to look at...Enjoy!

This was taken last Sunday before church. I took at least 10 pictures, and between 5 kids and 1 dog, this is the best we could do. Someday I hope to get a picture where everyone is looking at the camera, and smiling....aah, what will that be like? :o)

This is video of Josh at Grant's soccer game
It was so much fun to spend the 4th with cousins.
Savannah and I went to Disneyland and Sea World to celebrate her 12th birthday. We even got to eat dinner with Shamu!
These are photos from the 4th of July and our vacation at the beach.
Anyone want to play ball? Josh loves to walk around with a bat. Look out! This is a familiar sight for Troy. He loves to carry his tools around and fix things. What a smile!
Grant had a soccer game that day too. Go Savannah! "I need a nap!"
I am a stay at home mom to 5 kids. I feel lucky to be home with my kids, eventhough some days I want to pull my hair out! I love to hear my kids laugh.
