A little snack with Troy!

Troy has found a new love. Cheese in a can. I know...sounds gross! You can thank my parents for introducing us to this wonderful processed cheese in a can~ Anyway, I caught him the other day concentrating so hard on squeezing the can just right to make it come out on his wheat thins, well, most of the time it made it onto the wheat thins. He is so cute when he is concentrating!

Step 1: take can o' cheese and test for freshness

step 2: line up wheat thins just so...( or whatever cracker you prefer)
Step 3: practice technique

Step 4: begin cheese dispension
Step 5: eat cracker

step 6: go ahead and experiment...have fun with it!
The mischevious grin helps to make it more fun!

step 7: make sure you don't miss a single drop of your delicious treat!

step 8: repeat steps 1-7 as many times as needed

Step 9: make sure you firmly replace the lid to can o' cheese, as to not have a crusted tip of cheese the next time you want to enjoy this treat! Enjoy!

Civil War!

This weekend was civil war weekend....Oregon State vs. University of Oregon. Of course we would have to be a house divided! Savannah, Grant, and Brett are Duck fans, and Forrest is the only beaver fan. I am what they would call a "platypus" because I have no preference. (although I am not a big fan of black and orange colors together.) So, if it were based on color preferences....I guess I would be a duck, which I am sure would please neither duck or beaver fans. So, I will remain a platypus.

There is no love lost here.....the teams will have to duke it out. May the best team win!

Noel, the dog has been recruited to be a duck fan by Savannah

We tried to force a little love and peace, but they would not hear of it!

Josh, could care less....Brett dressed him today, I think he dressed him in all red (Ute colors) on purpose!

So, we decided to have a little party while we watched the game. Brett cooked up some of his yummy buffalo wings, and the kids made some pizzas.

Turned out pretty good

Everyone agreed that the food was great!

"You never know....they could come back"

Forrest stayed positive till the very end, hoping that his team could get ahead, but, sadly it just never happened. It was a blowout.....although, I don't think either team played that great. Can anyone say DEFENSE? Anyway, the final score was Ducks 65 and the Beavers 38. After all was said and done, we had some delicious food and a good time as a family. And Forrest, there's always next year.

Caught in the act!

This week I thought I would let everyone see what Josh has been up to lately. He is definitely matching and sometimes exceeding our other kids adventurous spirit~ Every day he does something and I wish that I had a picture of him doing his little stunts! As you can see, he is full of life and he loves to climb! It is fitting that he has such a big grin to go with his personality. You can see there is pure enjoyment in his eyes with each picture. He is so much fun...boy am I wiped out by the end of the day! Enjoy~

Jake wanted to say, "give me 5 "

My binki boys!

Troy without his binki...rare sighting!

Did I mention Josh loves to do the laundry?

This is his new hiding spot. If he hears me open the dryer he comes running!

Peek a Boo~

Adventure #2

Isn't this so cute?

You can just tell what comes next, right?

Monkey see, monkey do!!

mission accomplished!

Ok, one last adventure from Josh....

This is how any meal time goes...first the dogs wait....good dog

Then, Josh ever so slyly sneaks a little somethin to them.

Doesn't he look so innocent?

Josh has become very attatched to his blankie. When he is tired he holds it up to his eye.

Mom's birthday party

Tonight we celebrated Mom's birthday by going to the movie Madagascar 2, from there we went to "our" gathering place for dinner...aka Hometown buffet. After dinner we came to our house for presents and cake and ice cream. Here are some photos of the night. Here's to another year of love and fun memories~

can you count how many kids are in the pile?

Grant is helping grandma count her birthday money

Mom wanted some warm and comfy pajamas to relax in.

We are so glad that we can celebrate this day with you!
