This weekend was civil war weekend....Oregon State vs. University of Oregon. Of course we would have to be a house divided! Savannah, Grant, and Brett are Duck fans, and Forrest is the only beaver fan. I am what they would call a "platypus" because I have no preference. (although I am not a big fan of black and orange colors together.) So, if it were based on color preferences....I guess I would be a duck, which I am sure would please neither duck or beaver fans. So, I will remain a platypus.
There is no love lost here.....the teams will have to duke it out. May the best team win!

Josh, could care less....Brett dressed him today, I think he dressed him in all red (Ute colors) on purpose!
So, we decided to have a little party while we watched the game. Brett cooked up some of his yummy buffalo wings, and the kids made some pizzas.
Turned out pretty good
Everyone agreed that the food was great!

Forrest stayed positive till the very end, hoping that his team could get ahead, but, sadly it just never happened. It was a blowout.....although, I don't think either team played that great. Can anyone say DEFENSE? Anyway, the final score was Ducks 65 and the Beavers 38. After all was said and done, we had some delicious food and a good time as a family. And Forrest, there's always next year.
