Today, Grant turned the ripe old age of 6! My heart instantly melted the first time I saw his sweet face. I remember the first thing I noticed about him were his dark eyebrows. I wish I could upload some of my favorite newborn photos of Grant...but the printer/scanner is still down. Grant has always had such expression in his face. He was such a happy baby. Every morning I would go to get him out of his crib he was so happy....ready to get started with his day. With both of the older kids in school all day, I was able to spend so much one on one time with him, that is a special time for me. When Grant was born he weighed 9 lbs, 8 ozs. Definitely my biggest baby! I always knew Grant was a mover....when he was still inside of me at the hospital, the nurse hooked me up to the monitor, and said she had never seen such an active baby! I remember thinking..."what does that mean?" 8 and a half months later, he was walking all over the place! He hasn't slowed down yet. Grant also has a very gentle side to him as well. He loves babies, and they love him. When Troy was born Grant was 3 years old...he couldn't wait for the baby to come out. When he came to the hospital he didn't think twice when he was told that if he wanted to hold baby Troy, he couldn't have his cookie anymore...that cookie was set down so quickly...all he cared about was holding his baby. Grant is such a great helper. He loves to makes those around him happy. He has a special way of making others around him feel like they are his greatest friend. Grant loves to play baseball, basketball and soccer. He is a star Mario superslugger for the Wii. One day while playing the superslugger baseball game he told me that I needed to sign him up for baseball because he was really good at it! Here are some of his favorites that I asked him about today when I was at lunch with him. Favorite color...blue and green. Favorite thing to do...play baseball, favorite food...McDonalds, favorite TV show....SpongeBob, favorite place to go...HOT TUB! Happy Birthday Grant!
